Historical Enterprises, LLC was founded during the Summer of 2000 by Jason W. Gatliff. Jason has been an avid Re-enactor since the Fall of 1995. He started learning how to design websites the following year and now has over 3 years of Industry Experience. Jason used to work at ISPA in Gordon, Georgia as part of their Web Design Team before leaving to form Historical Enterprises, LLC.

       Historical Enterprises, LLC was formed due to the immense popularity of HistoricalTrekking.com. This was a website founded by Jason in November of 1999. Jason wanted an interactive information site for other Re-enactors whose interest was in Period Trekking. Soon after Jason founded Historical Enterprises, LLC to sponsor the site and aid in developing web sites for other clients. Historical Enterprises, LLC added to it's projects list in the Fall of 2000 when it purchased On The Trail magazine from Rick L. Edwards, the founder of OTT and the CoHT.

       On March 1st, 2013 Historical Enterprises, LLC purchased MUZZLELOADER Magazine from Scurlock Publishing. MUZZLELOADER Magazine and On The Trail magazine were then combined into a single publication under the MUZZLELOADER title.

       Historical Enterprises, LLC continues to grow and hopes to further the hobby through our efforts.
